This past weekend Will and I drove to New Orleans for his cousins wedding. We really enjoyed the kid-free drive and were able to spend extra time together.
Before the rehearsal dinner we ventured out into the French Quarter to do some exploring. Our hotel was super nice and had TONS of flowers in bloom everywhere.
We stumbled upon this sign and felt it was worth our time to check it out. We love a good Food Network endorsement.
Cafe' Beignet proved to be delicious.
Anything fried and covered in sugar is yummy in my book.
Will enjoyed a walking beer while I kept to sipping my water. NOLA isn't the best city to be prego in. :)
Before dinner we joined the family down in the lobby for some cocktails. My Shirley temple was made extra strong. I always love getting to see Adley!

Adley and I.
The next morning Will and I woke up early and headed straight to Cafe Du Monde for some more beignets and coffee.
We managed to beat the crowd and scored this great table.
Yum. Yum. Yum.
After breakfast we did some more NOLA exploring.
After exploring we met Will's family for brunch (more eating!) at Brennen's.
Will loves himself a good bloody mary.
The food was fantastic - strawberries & cream, eggs Benedict, bananas foster... yummm.
Bananas foster dude doing his thang.
After brunch we walked off our feast and stumbled upon an antique gun shop. The guys were in heaven.
After a long walk we headed back to the hotel before the wedding. While Will went to the WWII museum with his Dad, I snagged a luxurious 2 hour nap. It was amazing.
More cocktails before heading to the wedding.

While we were in NOLA Benjamin spent the weekend at the lake with the gang.
Loving life.
Two peas in a pod.
First fish encounter.
Lake trips always have to include 100 Rocky rides. Benjamin is obsessed with Rocky. He loves riding, playing with the buttons, and pretending to drive with the wheel.
Will is super grateful Pop was in charge of all the rides this trip...
Thanks Mom and Dad for taking such wonderful care of our sweet boys! (Ben and Hank!)
Looks like a great weekend/babymoon...and Ben didn't fare too poorly as well :) Great pics!
