Luke Sleepover!

Last week Luke came over for a last minute four-day sleepover! 

Amanda and Brian have had a trip to Miami on the books for months.  The original Tula and Pop sitters had to back out due to my Pepaw's passing so Luke was all mine.  The boys had tons of fun together and I took tons of cute pictures of our long weekend. 

Luke was quick to make my small apartment a huge mess!

After naps we journeyed to the mall for some indoor fun.  

It was interesting to see how life is with two kids .... I think I will wait a little bit longer. :)

Luke insisted that Benjamin get into the space rocket with him.

Luke was so happy when Uncle Will got home from work. 

"I'm tough like Daddy and Uncle Will!"

He was also super happy to be sleeping in our room on his very own bed. 

The next morning they were up extra early and ready to get the day started.

This special time with Luke brought out a new love for Uncle Will.  Will took Luke on an errand to get the gas changed in the car.  Luke loved looking at all the motorcycles and riding on them. He just loves being one of the guys!

The whole trip was "Uncle Will this..." and "Uncle Will that..."

Luke followed him everywhere. 

We took a second trip to the mall to escape the heat and grab a quick dinner.

On the last morning Luke was up with the sun.  

"Ummm, I think Uncle Will go swim with Luke!?" 

Will was so sweet and took his cute little nephew for an early morning swim.  Luke thought the whole apartment complex was ours... the pool, the playground, every front door. It was cracking me!

 In order to kill some time before his departure, we made a batch of home aide cinnamon apple chips.

Luke is full of energy, full of questions, and full of love.

He is precious and my sister (and Brian) are doing such a fantastic job with him.

Benjamin loved having his best friend live with us for a few days.
