American Girl Store!

One of Rebecca's dreams came true... she got an American Doll!
This is her with my doll Kirsten in an outfit my Memaw got for her in Germany.  Memaw and Pepaw gave me Kirsten and it has been so special to see her play with her.
I knew she was ready for a doll of her own when I kept finding this....

She had hung outfits for Kirsten to wear throughout the day.
And often wanted Kirsten to sleep with her.
The day finally came for her to pick her very own doll out compliments of Tula.  It was so special for all of us girls to experience it together.
Rebecca ended up picking out the doll Rebecca who is from 1914.  She lives in NYC and loves the theater.

Tula with all of her grand-daughters and their new dolls!
After picking out their new dolls we dined at their restaurant.  Amanda and I brought along our dolls, Kirsten and Molly.  We had a few people come by our table to check out some original American Girl Dolls that have since been discontinued.
This picture cracks me up.  I love the way she is looking at that ice cream!
We are blessed blessed to have Tula in our lives.  She has given our kids SOOOO many special memories and experiences.  My mom is leaving quite the legacy with these kids.  I mean... I did name my daughter after her so clearly I thought she was amazing. Pepaw would be so proud of the grandmother she is - full of magic just like he was.
The girls ended up falling asleep in the car! It was a successful event!

Cowboy Basketball

Benjamin finished his first season of basketball at the start of 2017.  It was super special, because Luke got to be on his team, and Uncle Brian was the coach.  The boys learned a lot, and had a great season.

This picture cracks me up!  Luke is so into the game.
They had an end of the season celebration at the church. Benjamin rocked the cowboy boots in honor of the team name.
This guy right here is so special to us.  Brian loves Benjamin like he were blood.  He pours his time, energy, and love into him.  Brian is my big brother we just happen to have different parents. :) I am SO SO SO thankful to have Brian as a Godly, hard working, servant hearted, kind man in Benjamin's life to strive to be like.
 Love these crazy Cowboys!

Happy New Year!

 Happy New Year!
We started off 2017 with a party at my friend Stacey's house.

Memaw gave Rebecca this dress from Germany and she wore it one day to school for show and tell.  She also brought my American Doll with her.  Both the doll and dress are from Memaw.  So special.
Her face expressions crack me up.
So do her poses.  This dress is from Auntie E, my favorite Aunt Elizabeth.
 My loves.
We finally got some snow one day in January.
And got to dust off our sleds.

Isaac wasn't too sure about all of it.
Willow facetimed us many times in January.  We would start talking to her and then I could hear Elizabeth in the background, "Willow, did you call Isaac again?!"
 My girl.
Molly got married in Austin and we had so much fun spending time with family and celebrating Molly and Weston.

Donuts stop on our way out of town after the wedding.

Snuggle time with two of my favorite guys.
Out with some of my buds... we always end up matching.
 Dinner with the Larkins.

Do I look as tired as this child makes me feel?

 January birthday parties with friends!

Two adorable babes in a bath. :)
